GBB is actively improving urban traffic through various measures. These include pedestrianizing the Historic City
Center, restructuring intersections to enhance capacity, and developing smart traffic control systems.
Road, Street and Junction Design Project, Altunizade
The Altunizade Intersection Pedestrian Transportation Arrangement Project aims to facilitate pedestrian circulation between the Altunizade metrobus stop and bus stops along the Uskudar-Kisikli route, bridging Europe and Asia. Currently, multiple exit options at pedestrian overpasses cause difficulty for pedestrians and render disabled access impossible.
